Abstrakt
The book presents six chapters based on the phenomenology of Edmund Husserl and the philosophical anthropology of Helmuth Plessner. The individual analyses are united by an effort to penetrate the question of a person who expresses himself in expression. His expressions are part of his life in the world and with other people, as well as his creative possibilities. The author therefore asks questions related to various forms of expression, what role a person plays in private and public space, what is the significance of work and rest in human life, but also how we see the things we look at. Philosophical reasoning in the book is connected with examples from literature, fine arts, architecture and various forms of play. All of this offers a new space for reflecting on experience, corporeality, expressiveness and relationships between people. The mutual complementarity of philosophy and art thus offers surprising answers.
