Filozofický príbeh odpustenia: Odpustenie a neodpustiteľné u V. Jankélévitcha, J. Derridu a P. Ricoeura

A philosophical story of forgiveness: Forgiveness and the Unforgivable in V. Jankélévitch, J. Derrida and P. Ricoeur
Abstrakt
The work is based on the belief that forgiveness has not only a religious but also its own philosophical story. It is an attempt to capture at least in part the philosophical story of forgiveness and, based on the analysis and comparison of the most important philosophical concepts of forgiveness after the Holocaust, to seek answers to the questions: What is forgiveness?, What are its possibilities?, Where are its limits? Some authors admit the possibility of attributing a certain legal or political significance to forgiveness in the interests of political and social reconciliation. Against this notion, the work defends the understanding of forgiveness not as an institutional, but as a personal relationship between the forgiver and the forgiven, and it should be an exceptional, not an everyday gesture.
