Abstrakt
The title of the book (derived from the name of the prehistoric Quaternary period) reveals to the reader that the topics the author addresses have long been within his sphere of interest and have been connected to his philosophical work "since forever" (literally, they are a kind of "pre-laments" or "primordial laments"). As in the previous book, it primarily concerns the problems of globalization and its negative impacts on European culture, the problem of the dehumanization of individual and social life, the negative consequences of information technologies on life and the dangers associated with them, the accumulation of power and the growing resignation to the possibility of correction, or rather the growing inability to decipher the above problems at all. But also extremely current problems, such as the migration crisis, Brexit and the like.
