Vladimír Bakoš

Filozofické iniciatívy Igora Hrušovského

Philosophical initiatives of Igor Hrušovský
Abstrakt
The book is clearly and functionally divided into nine relatively independent parts, which together create a coherent picture of the work of I. Hrušovský. He is presented as a founding figure of modern Slovak philosophy by V. Bakoš, who has also precisely processed his initiatives developed on the basis of the Scientific Synthesis. V. Bakoš convincingly exemplifies not only the ambivalence of the reflections of logical positivism in the given work of I. Hrušovský, but also his creative development of structuralism. Hrušovský’s theory of science is analyzed in depth in the third chapter, authored by J. Viceník. The shift of Hrušovský’s interest from the theory of science to the problems of noetics is explained by P. Cmorej. In the fifth chapter, B. Šulavíková devotes herself to I. Hrušovský’s polemic with N. O. Losský’s intuitive realism. M. Zigo drew attention to the issue of the history of philosophy in I. Hrušovský’s work. The monograph also contains chapters focused on Hrušovský's reflections on the issues of being – written by V. Černík – as well as his views on issues of artistic creation, which are discussed by E. Farkašová. The monograph also includes Hrušovský's bibliography.
