Analytické filozofické skúmania

Analytical philosophical investigations
Abstrakt
The book is a collection of analytical studies devoted to selected problems of philosophy of language, semantics and philosophical logic. The first part of the publication opens with a chapter on the existence and formation of composite ideal patterns of physical linguistic expressions. The author then deals with some aspects of the use of linguistic expressions and develops the consequences that result from identifying the meaning of an expression with its use. He also attempts to distinguish linguistic expressions more sharply from the pure bearers of their meaning (semi-expressions) and points out the consequences resulting from the differences between them. He also notes the differences between natural and ordinary language. He defines the concepts of contradiction, paradox and antinomy in more detail and critically analyses Popper's concept of the world 3. In the second part, the author focuses mainly on reference, identification and the most common understandings of bare individuals in epistemology, metaphysics and the philosophy of logic. It explains various concepts of identification and explores the possibilities of applying empirical descriptions in descriptive identification. It also deals with the problem of a posteriori nature of statements formed from proper names and identity signs.
