Abstrakt
This collection of articles was created on the basis of the conference of the same name, which took place in Bratislava in May 2009. It contains discussion and polemical articles on the monograph Interpretace a subjektivita (Prague 2006) by Petr Koťátek, in which the author formulates his realist position combined with an internalist view of language and communication. The authors of the contributions in the collection deal with: a) problems with defining Koťátek's realism; b) the application of this position in the philosophy of mind and in literary interpretation; c) semantic, pragmatic and epistemological aspects of using descriptions for identification. Another valuable feature of the book is that it contains Koťátek's responses to each article.
