The volume Denotation, Reference and Meaning brings together a collection of papers in analytic philosophy of language, logic, and philosophy of mind that systematically investigate the relations between linguistic meaning, denotation, and reference. The contributors address both classical and contemporary issues in theories of meaning, including the nature of sense and reference, the semantics of proper names, the communicative dimension of reference, intentional and propositional attitudes, and the semantic properties of mental states.
