Pozvanie k Heideggerovi

Invitation to Heidegger
Abstrakt
Heidegger thus sees himself primarily as a thinker awakening a sense of the fundamental, teaching to distinguish between the original and the derived, teaching to ask fundamental questions anew. And in his opinion, that fundamental question, the only question worth asking by a philosopher, is the question of being. As the motto for his main work BEING AND TIME, Heidegger cites a quote from Plato's dialogue Sophists and, in a commentary on this quote, emphasizes that today we are once again at a loss when it comes to answering the question in what sense we use the term "being". To articulate this loss of confidence, to structure it into explicit questions, to reject inadequate answers and at least attempt to indicate an answer, this is precisely the fundamental task of philosophy today. It is about restoring the charm, weight, and meaning to this question.
