Issue 4 (September 2026) of the academic journal Filozofia has just been published on the journal’s website!
Filozofia is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal, open to all authors regardless of methodology or philosophical orientation.
The editor-in-chief of the journal is prof. h. c. Jon Stewart, PhD., DrSc., Dr. habil. phil. et theol. (Filozofický ústav SAV).
Editor’s choice: A research paper entitled “Hegel po konci filozofie” (in Slovak), authored by Slavoj Žižek (Birkbeck Institute of Humanities, University of London, United Kingdom).
Slavoj Žižek is a Slovenian philosopher, cultural critic, and one of the most influential contemporary public intellectuals. Drawing on Hegelian philosophy, Marxism, and Jacques Lacan’s psychoanalysis, he examines ideology, capitalism, politics, popular culture, and social conflict. His importance lies in his distinctive ability to connect complex philosophical ideas with everyday phenomena, films, and current political events, making critical theory accessible to a broad international audience. Although often controversial, Žižek has significantly contributed to contemporary debates on ideology, subjectivity, and the contradictions of global capitalism.
